Frisenvang’s high quality soft yarn of 100% alpaca wool handspun of 90-95% baby alpaca wool and 5-10% of the exclusive royal alpaca wool. Produced according to organic principles. Our yarns are handspun by a small group of artisans in the Marcapata region in Peru in a direct cooperation without middlemen. Ready more about our project here
Frisenvang’s plantdyed alpaca yarns are produced according to organic methods and are dyed with plants and herbs primarily from the Andes plus indigo. The dying takes place outside in big pots over open fire behind the small workshop in Marcapata.
